The Red Sox have won the MLB World Series. They swept the Colorado Rockies, four games to none. They looked like an overly dominant team and never gave the Rockies any hope.
This ending is what I predicted earlier on this blog, and it came true. The Red Sox pitching was too strong, and the bats were to powerful for the young Rockies pitchers. Although the Rockies were hot coming in, the 8 days off cooled their strong momentum.
This brings to question the long time off. It definitley seemed to hurt the Rocks, and something may have to be done to prevent this much time off for teams still playing. It may or may not have hurt the Rocks, but MLB can't afford to take that chance.
